Robert Lee Turfe (RLT) is the Founder, Chairman, and Chief Executive Officer of Devonshire Capital, a private investment and holding company that owns strategic equity positions in a diverse portfolio of companies.
Through Devonshire Capital, Robert oversees and supports operating businesses across multiple sectors, including financial services. One of its flagship portfolio companies is Zoom Home Lending, a top-10 mortgage brokerage firm in the United States, offering conventional loans and government-backed programs through the Federal Housing Administration, U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, and U.S. Department of Agriculture. In this capacity, Robert has put many people to work, helping families nationwide achieve the American Dream of homeownership.
Robert has a distinguished history on Capitol Hill, having worked in both the U.S. House of Representatives and the U.S. Senate in Washington, D.C. He has worked with high-profile individuals in politics, business, sports, and entertainment, helping shape many of their brands and propel them to new heights in their careers, most notably international motivational speaker William “King” Hollis. He has collaborated with numerous celebrities and was featured in GQ magazine for his clothing line, KHÅN, where he clothed figures such as Lenny Kravitz, Jesse McCartney, Ne-Yo, Fabolous, Jeremy Piven, J. Cole, Young Jeezy, Chris Paul, Diggy Simmons, Anthony Hamilton, Shaun Ross, Chad Johnson, August Alsina, and Big Sean.
In his philanthropic efforts, Robert serves on several boards, including the Henry Ford College Foundation, Dragon Eagle TV, and 1 World 1 Mission (1W1M), a nonprofit organization promoting business through diplomacy. He builds global relationships with leaders across various fields, focusing on unity, peace, service, and innovation.
Robert earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree from the Eli Broad College of Business at Michigan State University.
